Become a Master Gardener

Dear Prospective Master Gardener:

Welcome; this is Lais McCartney Purdue Extension Educator and Master Gardener Coordinator for Hancock County. Thank you for your interest in the Hancock County Master Gardener Program.

Purdue Extension Master Gardeners are just beginning the planning of the next Master Gardener training series and want to make sure that we keep in touch with you as we know more.

I think that you will find the upcoming training series to be a great learning experience but also a great opportunity to get to know others who share the common interest of gardening.

You do not need to be an expert gardener to take part in this series…What you do need is an interest in gardening, an excitement about learning and a willingness to share what you will learn coupled with your enthusiasm for the subject with others.

Please take a few minutes to review the program’s materials  and if you wish, please fill out and submit the at your earliest convenience. We are not asking for a commitment to participate at this time only for an indication of interest and a way that we may contact you as we get some of the details worked out.

Your completed interest form will be returned to me at the Purdue Extension Office – Hancock County, 802 Apple St., Greenfield, IN  46140.  If you have any questions, please feel free to contact me at 317-462-1113.

My email address is: lmccartn@purdue.edu

Thank you very much.
