Covering Our Soil: Pollinator Habitat

Our speakers for the evening will be Cindy Newkirk, who is District Administrator/PSS Technician/Educator for the Hancock County Soil and Water Conservation district; and, Zach Voyles, who is with Pheasants Forever and Quail Forever/NRCS Farm Bill Biologist.

Cindy and Zach will be speaking about Pollinator Habitats and their efforts to improve these habitats for both home owners and farmers.  They will discuss how Cover Crops can also be used to provide for pollinator habitat.

A business meeting of the Hancock County Master Gardeners will follow at 7:40 p.m.
